Curtis Fest April 26th:
The local craft beer community recently lost a great friend in a tragic accident. Curtis McArthur was a sales rep for Sweetwater Brewery, but he was also a friend, an advocate for beer, laughter and living life to the fullest. This inaugural festival will raise money for the Curtis McArthur Foundation. The foundation was founded to help provide scholarships to South College’s Brewing Science program. This is something that Curtis would definitely approve!
Knoxville’s first-ever CurtisFest will honor the life of Curtis McArthur, celebrate his passion for craft beer, and raise funds for the Curtis McArthur Foundation. Reps from some of Curtis’s favorite breweries will showcase their finest creations. Local chefs and food trucks will compete to win the fish taco cook-off. Our DJ will tickle eardrums with Curtis’s favorite tunes.
So come enjoy disc golf, corn hole, paddle boarding, and kayaking demos. Bring your own favorite brews to share with friends, bring a mighty thirst, and be prepared to get, well, festive.
We promise to send you home with an official CurtisFest tulip glass, CurtisFest koozie, and a big smile.
Tickets are $50 per person. To purchase one please see Jason or Dave in our Beer den. Cash only. This is going to be a small intimate festival and we only have 25 tickets to sell, so come in and get one today!
R.I.P. Curtis, we miss you.
